Senior Executive, Claims (Motor)

Responsibility

  • Analyze and handle Motor insurance claims within turnaround time
  • Adopt proactive approach to evaluate and negotiate the resolution of claims, while mitigating damages to achieve cost-effective claim outcomes
  • Obtain reserving, settlement and payment authority in accordance with authority level
  • Resolve claims settlement disputes using various mechanism such as arbitration and mediation (if any)
  • Manage appeal process for rejected claims
  • Detect potential fraudulent claims 
  • Manage customer communications on claims matter
  • Conduct regular files review and reserve monitoring
  • Exercise good claims management to achieve target claims result

Requirement

  • At least Diploma and above
  • Possess BCP, PGI and ComGI
  • At least 5 years of relevant claims assessment experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Team Player
  • Good communication, problem-solving, analytical and negotiation skills
