CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES EVENTS

“Hawking” Up A Good Time with Dignity Kitchen

On 17 September 2016, EQ Insurance collaborated with Dignity Kitchen as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. They seek to do two things, first to change perceptions that the disabled, if given a chance, can be enabled; and second that their dignity can be restored through vocation.

Making a Difference at Willing Hearts

On the morning of 25 November 2018, staff of EQ Insurance along with some of our agents (a First!) came together to volunteer at Willing Heart Soup Kitchen as part of our CSR initiative. The team spent a half day at Willing Hearts – a 100% volunteer-based, non-profit organisation which operates a soup kitchen that prepares, cooks and distributes about 5,000 daily meals to over 40 locations island wide, 365 days a year. Beneficiaries include the elderly, the disabled, low income families, children from single parent families or otherwise poverty stricken families, and migrant workers in Singapore. Indeed, it is wonderful to have everyone coming together for the sole purpose of helping those in need. Once again, we are thankful to all those who have volunteered for a good cause and make this CSR event a successful one!!
