EQ Insurance Company Ltd (EQI) received its licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore in February 2007 – the first multi-line license to be issued to a local company in this millennium.

EQI underwrites the whole spectrum of non-life general insurance, with a particular emphasis on flexibility and responsiveness to market conditions. EQI has sturdy reinsurance support and its pro-rata treaty panel is led by XL Re and its Excess of Loss treaty panel is led by Swiss Re.

EQI is a member of the General Insurance Association and is a Citystate Group company.
